Library
We are really fortunate to have a fantastic library.
Over the years, the Principals of Magnetic Island State School have believed strongly that an up-to-date Library is crucial to student's learning and have made money available to support this belief. Resources have been carefully selected by Mrs Walker, (our exceptional aide who has an eagle eye for quality literature) and a number of Teacher-Librarians - currently, Ms Cramer. Staff and children have also had input into what should be purchased. As a result, our library has a truly excellent collection. We have one of the best Teacher-Reference collections around (many pre-service teaching students use our Library in preference to the University and say how fantastic our collection is!), and an absolutely EXCELLENT collection for the students to access.
Let's hear what others have to say about our lovely Library!!!
"Our fiction books are excellent. We have a very wide and diverse range." Delia, Yr 7
